Celebrate Spring: Simple and Stylish Easter Centerpieces
Those of you who know me understand my passion for home decor. I’m always making little updates to my own home and, of course, for my clients. When it comes to my personal space, I love decorating for the holidays in a way that’s impactful yet understated. I don’t feel the need to go overboard.
My approach is all about creating subtle centerpieces and vignettes that are simple yet beautiful, with an organic feel. I enjoy adding small touches for each holiday that maintain a cohesive aesthetic.
One of my favorite tasks is putting together a centerpiece for my dining table, as it’s one of the first things you see when entering my home. I aim to keep it within the bounds of my rattan tray, which I typically use year-round and simply edit for each season. This method works best for me.
With that said, I’m excited to bring out my Easter decor tomorrow. My almost six-year-old son asked me today during our bike ride, “Mom, when can we decorate for spring?” That was my cue to make it happen this weekend!
Add vases in differnt heights, grab stems from your yard and a porcelain bunny.
After living abroad for many years with limited space and options, I adapted to a simple style for different holidays. Before that experience, I wasn’t really one for going all out for any occasion—I just couldn’t find the motivation, to be honest. But I truly appreciate those who can!
One more idea that’s also so easy and all linked in my Amazon shop.
I keep a small bin for each holiday in my garage, and that’s all I need. This weekend, I’ll pull out my Easter bin and decorate with my son. I love that he cares! My older daughters appreciate it too, though they’re into cooler things these days—such is life!
A vase, candle and a cute bunny, super easy styling ideas for your table for Easter.
So if you’re looking to create a simple yet beautiful centerpiece that adds a special touch for Easter or spring, here’s my go-to approach:
Start with a tray. I prefer a rounded rattan tray, but any large, attractive tray will work for your dining table. Next, add a vase filled with nice spring faux stems, a bunny if you like, and a candle. You can even sprinkle in a few ceramic eggs. It doesn’t have to be elaborate—using varying heights will make it visually appealing.
